THE general election should be held as soon as possible to ensure a stable government, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said, in a departure from previous statements preferring polls to be held next year.
He said it is PAS’ own view that the federal government, which the Islamist party is part of, should complete its five-year term, which expires in 2023.
